Material guide

Range A

Everyday & Prototyping

Easy-printing materials for concept models, fit checks and everyday functional parts. Colour options vary by material. ABS and other materials available on request.

  • PLA Basic

    To order
    Best for
Concept models, fit checks and low-cost prototypes
    Strengths
Rigid, sharp detail, fastest turnaround — indoor, low-heat use only
    Limits
Softens at fairly low temperatures; not for heat, sun or sustained load.
    Black | White | Red
  • PETG HF

    To order
    Best for
Everyday brackets, housings and functional parts
    Strengths
Tougher than PLA, moisture- and chemical-resistant, low cost
    Limits
Less stiff than fibre-filled grades and can creep under sustained load.
    Black | White | Red
  • ASA

    To order
    Best for
Enclosures, covers and parts for heat or outdoors
    Strengths
UV- and weather-stable, heat- and impact-resistant, clean matte finish
    Limits
Less stiff than fibre-filled materials; Black only.
    Black
  • TPU 68D

    To order
    Best for
Bumpers, grips, seals and impact-absorbing parts
    Strengths
    Semi-rigid flex, abrasion-resistant, damps vibration
    Limits
Not for precise rigid fits; very fine detail is limited.
    Black | White | Red

Range B

Fibre-Reinforced

Carbon- and glass-filled filaments for stiffness, dimensional stability, and strength-to-weight.

  • PA6-CF

    To order
    Best for
    Tooling, fixtures and load-bearing brackets
    Strengths
Very stiff and strong, high heat resistance, wear-resistant
    Limits
Absorbs moisture over time, which lowers stiffness; less impact-tough than glass-filled.
    Black
  • PA6-GF

    To order
    Best for
Structural parts and wear components that take impacts
    Strengths
Tougher and less brittle than carbon-filled, heat-resistant
    Limits
Heavier and less stiff than carbon-filled grades; absorbs moisture.
    Black | White | Red
  • PET-CF15

    To order
    Best for
    Precise jigs, mounts and housings
    Strengths
Rigid and dimensionally stable, low warp, low moisture uptake
    Limits
Less impact-tough than the nylon grades.
    Black
  • PET-GF15

    To order
    Best for
Fixtures and industrial parts that must hold their shape
    Strengths
    Stable and tough, chemical-resistant, cost-effective
    Limits
    Less stiff than carbon-filled grades.
    Black
  • PA12-CF

    To order
    Best for
Parts for humid or wet environments, ducts and wear parts
    Strengths
Stiff and light, very low moisture uptake, holds tolerances
    Limits
Less stiff than PA6-CF and costs more.
    Black

  • PPA-CF

    Coming soon
    Best for
Under-hood, high-heat tooling and structural parts
    Strengths
Stiffer and more heat-resistant than nylon, resists oils and fuels, low moisture uptake
    Limits
Not yet available; higher cost than nylon grades.
    Black
  • PPS-CF

    Coming soon
    Best for
Parts exposed to chemicals, fuels and high heat
    Strengths
Near-universal chemical resistance, very stable, inherently flame-retardant
    Limits
Not yet available; more brittle than nylon grades.
    Black
  • PEI

    (ULTEM 9085)

    Coming soon
    Best for
Flame-rated enclosures, ducts and interior parts
    Strengths
Inherently flame-retardant with low smoke, high heat resistance, strong and tough
    Limits
Not yet available; premium cost, slower to print.
